ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE LEARNERSHIP:

The company delivers customers’ goods on offers various modes of transport, including air freight for speedy delivery, sea freight for cost saving, rail freight, road transport, as well as local and international courier.

DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Gauteng (for candidates with disabilities) and nationwide (for candidates without disabilities)
Duration: 12 months
Start date: 1 July 2021

DSV are inviting candidates to apply for learnerships in various fields, which once completed will lead to an NQF qualification. Learners will gain valuable practical working experience, in one of DSV’s busy Warehouse and Distribution Centres, for a period of 12 months.
The following learnership programmes are currently available:

• Freight Forwarding & Customer Clearance (NQF 3)
• Freight Handling (NQF 3)
• Warehousing & Retail (NQF 3)
• Business Administration (NQF 4)
• Generic Management (NQF 4)
• Project Management (NQF 4)
• Road Transport Supervision (NQF 4)
• Generic Management: Inventory and Inventory Control (NQF 4)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

• Must be a South African citizen
• Must have completed Matric (NSC) or equivalent
• Must be between 18 and 30 years old
• Must be hard working and dedicated
• Must be willing and able to take part in a 1 year-long full time learnership programme
• Must be interested in following a career in one of the fields listed above
• Disabled candidates must be able to work in DSV’s Gauteng branch
