Muvhango Auditions 2026-2027 | Application, Cast & Dates

We are pleased to inform you about Muvhango Auditions 2026-2027 I Application, Cast & Dates

It’s been years since Muvhango held open auditions for new roles and now they’re reviving their open castings to coincide with the show’s 25th anniversary.

This is who they’re looking for:

– Male actors between the ages of 30 and 40,
– Female actresses who are 50+.

You need to be able to speak TshiVenda and/or Pedi.

They’re looking to cast two new roles specifically.

According to Word of Mouth productions, they’ll be looking out for talent for future characters too.

Audition dates and venues

Thursday 8 September 2026-2027
Venue: Phalaphala FM in Polokwane

Friday 9 September 2026-2027
Venue: MGB Hotel in Sibasa, Thohoyandou

Auditions start at 09h00 and the audition material will be available at the venue.

SABC2’s soapie drama Muvhango is holding auditions for 2026-2027 and calling hundreds of young talented actors to enter.
