Career of Siyabonga Thwala
Thwala started performing professionally in 1989. In the 1996 made-for-TV film Born Free: A New Adventure, he made his acting debut. He appeared in a cameo in the Tarzan: The Epic Adventures episode āTarzan and the Scarlet Diamondā (Season 1, Episode 5) that same year.He turned down the part of Godlieb Mofokeng in the brand-new SABC 3 soap opera Isidingo in 1998 because he didnāt feel prepared for a long-term commitment to television. Shortly after, he was cast in the TV comedy Streaks, which was centred on a Cape Town hair salon and featured the now-seasoned Themba Ndaba.
