There is an external public examination (Junior Certificate) administrated by the Examinations Council of Eswatini. This final exam is held at the end of the junior secondary years which students must pass in order to progress to the senior secondary level.

Every year more than 1.5 lac students appeared in the examination. This is a national level examination conducted at the final year of junior secondary level. The junior secondary school is consists of three years of schooling. Successful students get promoted at secondary school.

The council uploads all the results information institutes, performance, and center wise to their official website. Candidates, parents, and institute officials can download the detailed summary report in PDF format.

Conclusion

Last year a total 68056 number of male students appeared in the JC examination whereas 76.10% passed the exam and a total 21377  number of male students is failed which is 23.90%. Similarly, a total of 68425 female students appeared in the JC examination whereas 76.96% passed the exam and a total 20482  number of female students is failed which is 23.04%. It clearly shows the performance of girls is better than boys performance.
