Then you apply for study funding at National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS), you can usually expect response few days after the application closing date. However, if you still haven’t heard back from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) it might be time to take things into your own hands. If you would like to check the status of your 2020 / 2021 NSFAS application, please visit the NSFAS website. Click on MyNSFAS account and login with your ID and the password you created during your application.

If the status of your application is “Provisionally Funded”, please contact Unisa’s Division: Student Funding (DSF). Please contact NSFAS for all other outcomes, as NSFAS is responsible for the application process.

Goodday, I applied for a bursary at the beginning of the year, up to date I did not receive any money yet. I was told that all my documents was not submitted but have prove that I did submit all my documents but still gave Nsfas again the documents they requested from me. I am doing my work without textbooks and its very difficult and its affecting my studies. I need to make foto copies and books and stationaries, I feel stressed out because I just want nsfas to let me know if I am going to get funded or not, so that I can know where I stand.
