Hytec South Africa’s local branches are in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Kuruman, Polokwane, Lephalale, Saldanha Bay, Newcastle, Rustenberg, Sasolburg, Secunda, Richards Bay, Klerksdorp, Witbank and Steelport. A number of branches are also established in other African countries such as Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Mozambique. Hytec South Africa is offering a 12-month learnership to 17 individuals interested in joining their training programme. The aim of the programme is to allow the candidates to gain work-place experience and hands-on skills.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

• Must be a South African citizen
• Education requirement: must have a Matric (NSC certificate) or any equivalent qualification
• Must be between 20 and 25 years old
• Must be unemployed
• Must be a hard-worker
• Must be able to work well with others
• Must have motivation
• Must be positive
• Must be from a previously disadvantaged background, in accordance with the Employment Equity Act
• Preference will be given current Hytec employees’ dependents and females
