Requirements for KBC Internship 2024
Gaining employment at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation as a permanent staff requires many years of working experience, to this end, you can get an advantage by starting as an intern, and don’t forget you will also be paid.
As a matter of fact, you’re not the only one applying for a KBC internship as such you should note that the process is quite competitive.
To stand out, here are the criteria according to Kenya Broadcasting Corporation that all prospective intern applicants should possess.
- Applicant must be a Kenya citizen
- Applicant must be between the ages of 20 and 35
- He or she must have an acceptable means of identification a National ID or passport
- Candidate should have a degree or diploma in any field of study
- Applicant should possess a minimum mean grade of D+ (D Plus) and above in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination or its equivalent from an examination body recognized in Kenya with a D+ (D Plus) and above in either English or Kiswahili languages
- Applicant should have a minimum of four (4) practicing experience
- Have a leadership course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution (optional)
- Applicant should be a registered member or relevant professional body
- Applicant should be proficient in computer skills
- Applicant should demonstrate results in work performance
- Candidate applying should possess, analytical, communication, strategic and innovative thinking, interpersonal, the ability to mobilize resources, and negotiation skills
- Applicant should fulfill the Chapter size (6) constitution by possessing the following documents;
- Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (Tax Compliance Certificate);
- Higher Education Loans Board (HELB Clearance Certificate);
- Criminal Investigations Department (Certificate of Good Conduct);
- An approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB Report);
- Ethics and Anticorruption Commission (Dully filled and completed first schedule (s.13) and self-declaration form stamped by the EACC
- Lastly, the candidate applying should be free of criminal record

- There click register and provide the required information
- After registration return the application portal
- Sign in using your username and password
- Then click Applicant cockpit
- Select internship
- Carefully fill out the online application form
- Upload relevant documents/certificates/testimonials
- Review your application and
- Submit if everything is in order

Sunday, 22nd November, 2022 is the deadline for the KBC internship application. Failure to complete and submit your form on or before this time will lead to disqualification.

KBC interns are paid Ksh. 20,000 monthly as a stipend.
