NECTA PSLE :

• PSLE (Primary School Leaving Examination) in Tanzania conducted by National Examination Council Of Tanzania (NECTA) in the second week of September every year. This is a selection test, candidates get admission in standard eight. Students who get selected in this PSLE exam government awarded a certificate.

• Any pupil who has completed standard seven in any schools (government and private) are eligible for registered and sit for NECTA PSLE examination.

• The examined subjects at PSLE are Hisabati (Mathematics), English Language, Sayansi (Science), Maarifa ya Jamii (Social Studies) and Kiswahili.

• The main objectives of PSLE is to evaluate learning skills and knowledge should be gained in the different subjects at primary school level; to evaluate pupil for understanding of the basic skills and improve the abilities in reading, writing and arithmetic and the so that pupil can use such of these skills for solving pertinent problems in life.

From 2016 the National Examination Council Of Tanzania (NECTA) developed online results system through official website (www.necta.go.tz). Now students of Tanzania can check their matokeo psle  online. Check below for step by step guide to get the result online.

• Step 1 : visit www.necta.go.tz
• Step 2 : Find the “Result” in Main Menu and Click on “Search” from the submenu.
• Step 3 : The “Search Result” window will appear shown in below.
• Step 4: Select your “Year” for necta results as .
• Step 5: Select “Exam Type” as PSLE.
• Step 6: Enter Your “Candidate number”
• Final Step: Click on “Request” button.
