ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE LEARNERSHIP:
POPUP (People Upliftment Programme), established in 1999, is a Skills Training and Development organisation which aims to empower individuals, foster entrepreneurship, and assist with job placement.
In 2005 POPUP began operating a fully-fledged skills training and development centre – the purpose of the centre is to ensure the fulfilment of the individual’s needs – mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:
The POPUP (People Upliftment Programme) End User Computing Learnership programme is aimed at students who have completed either Grade 11 or Matric. On completion, learners will receive the following qualification:Â End User Computing, NQF Level 3.
Location:Â Raslouw Centre, Johannesburg, Gauteng
Start date:Â the programme will begin on 27 January 2021
Contract term:Â 1 year, with theoretical training of 5 consecutive weeks. Training will take place at the following address: Doxa Deo Raslouw, 178 Aletta Street, Centurion, Pretoria, 0157
Salary:Â R3 500 per month
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Education required: completed Grade 11 or Matric
- Age requirement: must be between 18 and 26 years old
- Race requirement: must be coloured
- Male and females may apply
- Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply
- Must be willing to learn and develop in computer and administration
- Must have a positive attitude
