Thuli had her first role on Mina Nawe season 1 which aired on SABC 1. She acted as Lizzie alongside Karabo Magongwa. In 2018 she appeared on Imbewu the seed. Then in 2020 she was casted on Durban Gen as Ma Cele the wife to Bab Gumede (played by Sifiso Sibiya) and the mother to Calvin Gumede (by Bhekisizwe Mahlawe). She left the show in 2021 when she had landed a role on Lingashoni. Thuli was casted to play the role of Celina a housemaid on Lingashoni season 1 alongside Linda Nxumalo, Fanele Zulu and Patrick Mofokeng. In 2021 she won an award at the 3rd annual awards of Mlwazet Bavundulule Awards (MBA) for Best Actress.
