Reporting to: Repayment Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage queries from customers
  • Contact customers who are disabled
  • Take ownership of all issues and challenges through to resolution
  • Deliver outstanding customer service
  • Analyze customers’ financial status and credit to determine feasibility of payment for kits/products
  • Explain to clients the products and credit options that are available as well as the terms of those services
  • Explain to customers the repayment plans
  • Review and update customers’ credit files
  • Negotiate payment arrangements with delinquent customers
  • Update delinquent customers and forward irreconcilable accounts for collector action to Repayment Officers
  • Manage movement and storage of repossessed and returned kits


  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience in micro-finance (Added Advantage)
  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Diploma or Degree
  • Fluency in English and one or more local language (Bemba, Nyanja)
  • Maximum 2 years of experience


  • Good knowledge of Zambian market, especially Rural Zambia
  • Experience in either Micro-Finance, Telecoms, Fintech, Fast Moving Customer Goods (FMCG) or all
  • Proven track record in working with targets and elaborating detailed strategies
  • Ability to manage field sales teams towards aggressive targets
  • Communication skills
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • Proven networking and social skills
  • Team Player
  • Data and Report Analysis
