Step 1. Go to the ECZ Web Portal
To access your results, you need to visit the ECZ web portal at https://eservices.exams-council.org.zm/. This is the official website where you can check your results.
Step 2. Click the E-STATEMENTS OF RESULTS Link
Once you are on the ECZ web portal, you will see the “E-STATEMENTS OF RESULTS” link on the homepage. This link will take you to a new page where you can access your results.
Step 3. Select Candidate Sign In
On the new web page, there will be an option for Candidate Sign In. Click on this button to proceed to the next step.
Step 4. Select Level of Examination and Enter Candidate’s Examination Number
From the dropdown, select the level of examination that you have completed. Enter your examination number in the provided textbox and then click on “Continue.” The system will verify your details and proceed to the next step.
Step 5. View Your Results and Print Your Statement of Results
After the system verifies your details, your results will be displayed, showing all the details of the candidate and the school. You can then click on “Print Statement of Results”. A PDF document will be generated in a new tab within your browser. In case you are unable to view the statement of results due to pop-up blockers, you need to enable it, and then redo the process from step 4.
GCE Exams 2025/2026 Zambia:
A General Certificate of Education (GCE) is awarded to a candidate who obtained Grade one to eight in at least one subject.
- If(a) The candidate enters and sits but does not qualify for the School Certificate;
- (b) Already holds a School Certificate or General Certificate of Education (GCE).
NOTE. Any candidate who has already attempted the examinations offered by Examinations Council of Zambia can only attempt again as a General Certificate of Education (GCE) candidate and shall always obtain a General Certificate of Education (GCE).
Also, note that the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Certificates cannot be combined to make one certificate or a School Certificate.

You are now aware that the 2025/2026 Grade 7 and Grade 9 Examination results were released on 22nd December 2025/2026 in Lusaka. Here is how you check the results using your mobile phone:1. You open the new message pad on your Mobile Phone

The SMS Service is available on all the networks in Zambia- that is MTN, ZAMTEL and AIRTEL. The SMS cost is K4 per successful transmission.
NOTE: Candidates however, are advised to go and collect the original transcripts of results from the SCHOOL OR EXAMINATION CENTRE where they wrote the examinations from, and NOT from the Examinations Council of Zambia or any Ministry of General Education Offices.
HOW TO CHECK GCE, GRADE 7 & 9 RESULTS ONLINE
- The web address to use is: https://eservices.exams-council.org.zm/ or http://www.exams-council.org.zm/
- Click on link number 4 which reads “E-STATEMENTS OF RESULTS” on the lists links, then
- Click on “CANDIDATE SIGN IN”
- Select level you want to check results for in the select box e.g. “GRADE 9” or “GENERAL CERTIFICATE OF EDUCATION”
- Then click on “Continue” button
- Enter your correct Examination number and click on “Continue” *The results will be displayed showing all the detail of the candidate
- Click on “PRINT STATEMENT OF RESULTS” *A PDF document will be generated in a new tab with the browser which you can either print if connected to a printer or Save

GCE Exam Grading System:
The following table shows the relationship between Grades and the Standards;

The School Certificate will show Subject Grades from One (1) and Eight (8). Grade Nine (9) and Absent (X) will not be recorded on the Certificate although they will be shown on the Results Slip.
